Response Ongoing For Despondent Person: Elk Grove Village PD

ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL — Police are responding to a despondent person Tuesday afternoon in the area of the 2200 block of Pratt Boulevard. A community notification was sent out at around 3:30 p.m. Residents are being asked to avoid the area of Pratt and Nichols until further notice.

Police said the incident is contained, but active. There is no threat to the community.
