Robots Now Serving Drinks at Local Racetrack

Levy Restaurants debuted four Monsieur Bartender automated cocktail machines earlier this month at Arlington Park.

How would you feel about a robotic bartender serving you up a drink at Arlington Park?

Earlier this month, Levy Restaurants, a Chicago-based company, debuted four Monsieur Bartender automated cocktail machines in premium level suites at Arlington Park Racecourse, Crain’s Chicago Business Journal reports.

The machine can make up to 300 different mixed drinks and users can use a digital chip card or bracelet to activate the machine. So far, the cocktail machine is only at use at Churchill Downs and Arlington Park, according to the article.

Starting off, the machines will only be available for a handful of Arlington Park suite holders but Levy Restaurants plans to make the machines available as part of upgraded bar packages for those using the suites, according to Crain’s.
