Schaumburg Welcomes Great Big Game Show To Woodfield Mall This Spring
The immersive entertainment brand, known for its live studio-style game shows, is opening its second location in Illinois.

SCHAUMBURG, IL — Great Big Game Show is expanding its presence in Chicagoland with a new location opening this spring at Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg. This interactive attraction transforms groups into contestants within a television-style competition, featuring lights, music, buzzers, and a live host.
The Escape Game, based out of Nashville, is the parent company of Great Big Game Show, as well as The Escape Game Chicago. The latter opened in River North in 2016, and features puzzle-based rooms where teams try to beat the clock and escape. The first Great Big Game Show in the state debuted in Oak Brook in 2024.
According to The Escape Game, Great Big Game Show teams inside the studios step behind podiums to compete in a fast-paced, one-hour challenge. The competition blends trivia, strategy, and quick-thinking challenges. Each studio can accommodate up to 14 players, who will move through a rotating lineup of games designed to maintain high-energy and unpredictable outcomes.

The experience offers more than 17 mini-games, including titles such as Trivia Temple, Blaster Blitz, Drawing in the Dark, Spin Out, Build It Up, and Split Decision. These games provide a mix of head-to-head battles, teamwork, and humorous moments.
"The Chicago area has always shown up ready to play," said Jonathan Murrell, co-founder and CMO of Great Big Game Show. "When we first opened in Oak Brook, players immediately embraced the experience. Schaumburg allows us to bring that same energy to another part of the region."
