Shelter-In-Place Lifted After Road Rage Incident: Mt Prospect Police
Police were searching for four suspects, who may have had a gun, during the early Monday morning incident.
MOUNT PROSPECT, IL — A shelter-in-place order was lifted early Monday following a possible road rage incident involving a firearm near Camp McDonald and Wolf roads. According to police, a mass Everbridge mass notification was issued at around 12:39 a.m. as a search for the suspects was ongoing.
Initial descriptions of the two to four subjects involved in the incident were that they were males and wearing all black. Police were asking residents to call 911 immediately if they "hear or see anything suspicious." The shelter-in-place order was for homes in the immediate area of where the incident occurred.
