Soccer Rules 101 FREE Workshop

Have you ever watched your son or daughter’s soccer game and wondered what the call was all about? Do you wish you understood the rules of soccer better? If so, please attend a FREE workshop, “Soccer Rules 101,” on Thursday, February 4th, 7 PM in the Buechner Room at Arlington Heights Village Hall, 33 S. Arlington Heights Road.

Sponsored by the Elite Soccer Community Organization (ESCO), the workshop will be led by Larry Stone, USSF Soccer Referee and Referee Assignor. Larry will cover such topics as: What is a handball? What is offside? What is the difference between a direct and indirect kick? What are the various types of fouls? What is impeding? And much, much, more. This is your chance to ask questions!

Before you complain to the ref again, hear the truth behind the rules, and why certain calls are made!
