Canty is also a current trustee on the Arlington Heights Village Board, a seat she will remain in until her term ends in April.
"Connecting with community members and learning about the issues that matter most to them is one of my top priorities as a state representative. There are so many state resources available to residents, but many simply don’t know about them," Canty said in a news release. "That’s why I invite everyone to join us at our district office grand opening. I can’t wait to meet even more of our great community and connect them to the support services they need."
