Storage Trailer Fire Halts Fireworks at Arlington Park

A storage trailer fire at the Arlington Park halted fireworks Saturday night, the Daily Herald reports.

It’s unclear if the blaze started because of the fireworks and was put out a short time later, according to the newspaper.

“Arlington experienced a small fire of some debris in the infield, which was quickly extinguished,” according to the Arlington Park Facebook page. “There was a brief delay in the fireworks, but the crowd was entertained and patient. The show went on and built to a spectacular finale.”
