Student Brought Gun To Middle School: Rolling Meadows PD
The student is in custody following the Tuesday incident at Plum Grove Middle School, according to police.

ROLLING MEADOWS, IL — A student, who brought a firearm to Plum Grove Middle School Tuesday, is in police custody. Rolling Meadows police said no students, staff, or parents were threatened or injured as a result of the incident.
Police were notified by school administrative staff of the gun being at the school and immediately confiscated it upon arrival at 2600 Plum Grove Road. The identity of the student was obtained by police, and the student was in police custody as of Tuesday night. A search of the school revealed no additional weapons.
"This investigation is ongoing, and appropriate enforcement action will be taken," police said in a news release. "The Rolling Meadows Police Department will continue to work with our partners at Plum Grove Middle School and Community Consolidated School District 15 to bring this incident to an appropriate resolution."
