'Swing Into Spring,' Bike Ride Return Saturday In Arlington Heights
The family-friendly event, which is preceded by the community bike ride, will be held at North School Park.
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The forecast looks good for Saturday's "Swing Into Spring" event at North School Park. The fun begins at 11 a.m. at the park and runs through 2 p.m., but don't miss the community bike ride before.
The bike ride, which begins at 10:15 a.m., provides two choices, including either a long route of 9.7 miles or a short ride of approximately 2.4 miles. According to organizers, both routes will begin and end on Eastman Street, just south of North School Park. The routes are designed to be enjoyed at a non-race pace, and helmets are strongly encouraged. Water and a small snack will be provided.
Check-in is at 9:45 a.m. for the bike ride. The Arlington Heights Bicycle and Pedestrian Commission is hosting the event.
