Teen Mother, Baby Missing From Unincorporated Palatine Township

UNINCORPORATED PALATINE TOWNSHIP, IL — A teenage mother and her 20-month-old daughter have been missing since Saturday, according to the Cook County Sheriff's Office.

Sharon Tellez-Perez, 17, and her daughter were last seen at Tellez-Perez’s residence in the 4200 block of Bonhill Drive at around 1 p.m. Saturday. She had told relatives she was leaving to do laundry.

Family members believe she may be in the company of her boyfriend, who is the child’s father, and that they may be en route to Florida or Louisiana, where he has relatives.

Tellez-Perez is described as approximately 5 foot, 5 inches tall and 120 pounds, with medium-complected skin and dark brown shoulder-length hair.

Anyone with information about Tellez-Perez’s whereabouts is asked to call 911, the Cook County Sheriff’s Police at 708-865-4896, or the Cook County Sheriff’s Office non-emergency number at 847-635-1188.
