Teen Sexually Assaulted In Arlington Heights Parking Garage: Police
The reported assault happened Saturday afternoon on the top level of the Eastman Parking Garage.
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — Police are investigating a reported criminal sexual assault involving a juvenile victim at a downtown parking garage.
The reported assault happened Saturday afternoon on the top level of the Eastman Parking Garage, 155 E. Eastman St., near Arlington Heights Road and Miner Street.
The teenage victim and her guardian contacted police early Saturday evening to report the incident.

According to a preliminary investigation, the victim was approached by an unknown person on the top level of the parking garage sometime around 3:30 p.m. Police said the person allegedly asked the victim for help with an issue involving his vehicle.
The victim entered the vehicle, where the sexual assault took place.

The suspect is described as a white man, about 6 feet tall and 200 to 250 pounds, with dark hair. Police said he was reported to be wearing a black T-shirt and black athletic shorts.
The vehicle was described as an older-model gray sport utility vehicle.
Police said limited suspect and vehicle information was available at the time of the release.
The victim was taken to a local hospital for a precautionary medical evaluation.
Detectives are actively pursuing all investigative leads. Additional information will be released as it becomes available and as appropriate to the investigation.
