Troop 37 to Host Open House Dec. 2 for Kids Interested in Scouts

Interested in joining Boy Scouts? 5th to 8th grade is a great time to become a Scout. Check out Award-Winning Troop 37 at their Open House.

Is your son interested in joining Boy Scouts? 5th grade to 8th grade is a fantastic time to become a Scout.

The Scouts of Award-Winning Troop 37 invite you their Open House to learn more. Bring your friends and check out the awesome Scout activities!

The free, fun-filled event is on Monday, Dec. 2 from 7:30-8:30pm. It will be held at St. Peter Lutheran School, 111 W Olive, Arlington Hts, IL.

Troop 37 is based in Arlington Heights and has Scouts from throughout the Northwest suburbs including Arlington Heights, Barrington, Mount Prospect, Palatine, Roselle, Wheeling and more. Scouts in Troop 37 are not required to be members of St. Peter school or church - we welcome everyone!

The troop has outings and activities every month of the year. Recent adventures have included:
- Klondike Derby winter camp at Camp Crown
- Skiing at Cascade Mountain, WI
- Canoeing Galena River & Boundary Waters
- Bicycling historic Wisconsin Elroy-Sparta Trail
- Backpack camping on the Ice Age Trail
- Hiking & rock climbing Devil's Lake State Park
- Caving at Maquoketa Caves Park
- Charter boat fishing on Lake Michigan
- And, summer camp at Camp Napowan!!
