Victim Duped Into Paying $350 for Car Repairs That Were Never Completed

An unknown offender approached a person at Denny’s, 17 W. Algonquin Road in Arlington Heights, at 5 p.m. on Nov. 29 and offered to repair dents in the victim’s vehicle. The victim agreed and paid $350 for the work only to later discover the damage was not fixed.
