Video: Hersey's Philipose Qualifies for State in 3200 Meters
See area high school athletes from throughout Lake and Cook counties competing in the regional track and field meet.
Hersey High School's Andrew Philipose qualified for state in the 3200 meters during the 3A Track and Field Sectional at Buffalo Grove High School Thursday, May 16.
Philipose finished third with a time of 9:23.25.
Also qualifying for state was Hersey High School's Ed Beyer who finished second in the discus.
