Want to Buy a Shopping Center? Arlington Town Square Is for Sale

Any sale of the 3.6-acre property shouldn't affect current tenants, such as Star Cinema Grill, in the short term.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL—A downtown retail center is on the sales block.

Arlington Town Square, the home to Star Cinema Grill, California Pizza kitchen and a luxury condo complex, is being shopped around by Mission Capital Advisors, the representatives for the unnamed lending company that's owned the property since 2010, the Daily Herald reports.

Bids on the development, 21 S. Evergreen Ave., will be taken through June 21, and the 3.6-acre site, which includes 32 retail spaces, eight office units and a six-screen movie theater, was appraised last year for $24 million, the Herald reports. Mission Capital Advisors said the initial sale of Arlington Town Square, which was built in 1999, would not affect the current tenants in the short, the report added.
