Whereabouts Of Shooting Suspect Unknown: Schaumburg PD
BREAKING: The 23-year-old suspect in a Schaumburg shooting last week was last seen in Chicago, according to police.

SCHAUMBURG, IL — Police are searching for a suspect in a fatal shooting last week in Schaumburg. Dion T. Rodgers, who was last seen in Chicago, is wanted for first-degree murder following a shooting incident on Dec. 13 in the 1200 block of E. Higgins Road. No one was injured in the incident.
The current location of Rodgers is unknown. He was last see in the 2000 block of West Division Street, Chicago. He is described as 5-foot-11, 173 pounds, brown eyes, black hair, average build.
Rodgers was located a short time after the Dec. 13 shooting and arrested, according to police. A subsequent investigation has revealed Rodgers knew the person he shot. While in custody, he sought medical treatment unrelated to the incident. Rodgers was admitted to the medical facility and paperwork was completed for the facility to notify Schaumburg Police when he would be released from treatment.

The Circuit Court of Cook County issued an active warrant for Rodgers after reviewing the case. When police shared the warrant with medical facility, they were told he was no longer in their care. They were no longer able to provide further details of his release.
The Schaumburg Police urge citizens to use caution if they encounter Rodgers and call 911
