Woman Attempts To Lure Kids Walking To School Into Car: Schaumburg PD
The children, between the ages of 7 and 11, ran home following the Friday morning incident.

SCHAUMBURG, IL — A woman attempted to lure two children into her car while they were walking to school Friday morning near the intersection of Slingerland Drive and Westover Lane. Police released a composite sketch of the woman.
The woman is described as white, between the ages of 28 and 30, medium build, straight brown hair with blonde highlights, wearing gold hoop earrings.
According to police, at around 8:13 a.m., the woman in her car approached the two children walking together and offerered them a ride to their nearby elementary school. The woman was driving a black four-door Nissan SUV. Police said the children are between the ages of 7 and 11. They ran home and their parents called police.

Police said the driver never exited the SUV, and no physical contact occurred. The vehicle, which had black leather interior and a roof-mounted luggage racks, was last seen traveling north on Slingerland Drive.
Police are asking anyone who may have been in the area, or who may have seen the suspect or vehicle, to call the Schaumburg Police Department investigations anonymous tip line at 847-348-7055.
