Woman Dies In Elk Grove Village Home Fire: Report
The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the 62-year-old victim following the early Friday fire.
ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL — A 62-year-old Elk Grove Village woman died following an early Friday morning house fire. The victim is Cindy Goodwin, of the 900 block of Wilshire Avenue, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
WGN-TV is reporting fire crews arrived at Goodwin's home within five minutes of receiving a 911 call at around midnight.
