Woman Gives Fake Bomb Alarm: Arlington Heights PD Blotter

The Arlington Heights resident was arrested Thursday following the incident, according to police.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The following information comes from the Arlington Heights Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court.

RETAIL THEFT

  • Dannique Baker, 18, of the 7400 block of S. Princeton Avenue, Chicago, is accused of retail theft, and was arrested at 7:51 p.m. Aug. 15, at Ulta Beauty, 13 W. Rand Road. A court date of Sept. 24 was assigned.
  • Gerald P. Mravik, 42, of the 1700 block of River Road, South Elgin, is accused of retail theft, and was arrested at 12:16 a.m. Aug. 13, at Lowes Home Store, 990 W. Algonquin Road. A court date of Sept. 12 was assigned.
  • Jodi B. Shachter, 55, of the 400 block of Saddlebrook Lane, Vernon Hills, is accused of retail theft, and was arrested at 3:02 p.m. Aug. 12, at Kohl's, 800 W. Dundee Road. She was released and assigned a court date of Aug. 28.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

Samuel I. Castilleja, 21, of the 26000 block of S. Locust Place, Monee, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding 35+mph over the speed limit, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and was arrested at 1:02 a.m. Aug. 14, at N. Arlington Heights Road and E. Northwest Highway. He was released and assigned a court date of Aug. 28.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

  • Daniel H. Fisher, of the 100 block of E. Willow Street, Arlington Heights, is accused of disorderly conduct, and was arrested at 10:57 a.m. Aug. 15, in Harmony Park. He was released and assigned a court date of Sept. 10.
  • Karen A. Kline, 300 block of E. Knob Hill Drive, Arlington Heights, is accused of disorderly conduct (giving a false bomb/gas alarm), and was arrested at 11:43 a.m. Aug. 15, in the 300 block of E. Knob Hill Drive. A court date of Aug. 16 was assigned.

VIOLATION OF A PROTECTION ORDER

Justin P. Harding, 23, of the 2300 block of S. Goebbert Road, Arlington Heights, is accused of violating a protection order, and was arrested at 3:41 p.m. Aug. 15, in the 3200 block of N. Volz Drive. A court date of Aug. 16 was assigned.

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Andrew Zahn, 38, of the 2100 block of Fernandez Avenue, Arlington Heights, is accused of three counts of possession of a controlled substance, and was arrested at 3:33 p.m. Aug. 15, at Public Storage, 903 E. Algonquin Road. He was released following his arrest.
