Woman Hit By Car Monday Morning in Critical Condition
The accident took place on Grove Street just before 7 a.m. in Arlington Heights.

Police say a 16-year-old boy struck a woman walking her dog on Grove Street in Arlington Heights early Monday morning. The teen’s Volkswagen Golf GTI was westbound near Pioneer Park, and the woman was crossing Grove Street from Kaspar Street at about 6:50 a.m., reports the Chicago Tribune. The woman, in her 50s, was taken to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge. The Chicago Sun-Times reports that she’s in critical condition as of Monday afternoon. The dog was not hurt. Citations have not been issued.
