Woman Tried To Hire 'Numerous People' To Kill Ex-Husband: Police
The 36-year-old is accused of asking several different people to carry out a hit on her ex.

HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL — A Hoffman Estates woman is accused of attempting to solicit "numerous people" to kill her ex-husband. Police said Krystyna Bury, 36, of the 100 block of Hawthorne Lane, was charged Friday with solicitation of murder. Officials told NBC Chicago they learned Aug. 16 that Bury had contacted multiple people over the last several months in an attempt to arrange a hit on her former husband.
Bury was in custody at the Cook County jail in lieu of $250,000 bond, according to jail records. She is due in court in Rolling Meadows on Sept. 14. (For more information on this and other neighborhood stories, subscribe to Patch to receive daily newsletters and breaking news alerts.)
