According to Women’s Law Committee co-Chair Stephanie Garces, an Arlington Heights practicing lawyer, “we had over 200 clothing items and countless toiletries” collected to benefit women that have returned home from the armed forces that are trying reenter the civilian workforce. Stephanie also indicated that she and her co-chair Margaret Zuleger wanted to find away to give back and chose the National Women Veterans United. The Women’s Law Committee is part of the Northwest Suburban Bar Association and it’s goal is to reach out to women lawyers in the community and make a difference.
