Yanni's Greek Restaurant Reopens in Glenview
The onetime Arlington Heights favorite is back, albeit a short drive away.

GLENVIEW, IL - Yanni’s greek restaurant is back in business for north suburban clientele, having opened last month in Glenview.
Yanni’s now operates the space at 2601 Navy Boulevard in The Glen Town Center, according to a report in the Glenview Announcements. The restaurant replaces Jameson’s Original Charhouse, which closed last summer.
Yanni’s has been closed for four years, but was popular as a spot for greek fare in Arlington Heights for four years in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Part-owner/General Manager Andy Kalyviaris decided recently to bring back the Greek favorite with some of the owners of the original restaurant in Arlington Heights.

"We felt like there was a large demand for more Greek options on the North Shore," said Andy Kalyviaris, general manager and part owner. "There really isn't anything out there like what we are offering—a menu that consists of authentic Greek dishes as well as modern cuisine."
Charles Bowman, the original chef in Arlington Heights, will work with new Chef Kostas Anyfantis at the new location.
