Yoga Nidra, Reiki and Crystal Singing Bowls on October 12

JAI Yoga Studio in Palatine is thrilled to welcome back Becky and Christy for a Yoga Nidra, Reiki an Crystal Singing Bowls Workshop!

Enter deep relaxation as you are guided through Yoga Nidra “Conscious Sleep”. Simply lay comfortably on your back or seated, and you will be guided through varying breathing, body awareness and relaxation techniques to progressively enter a deeply relaxed awareness. In this meditative state, it is easy to disengage from negative mental talk and detach from unconscious habit patterns that may be limiting your life. While in this relaxed state you may choose to receive Reiki, an ancient energetic healing technique used to balance your energy, opening any emotional or spiritual energetic blocks. Seal the experience and wash away that which no longer serves you through the beautiful healing sounds of crystal singing bowls to restore your body, mind and spirit bringing a renewed sense of self. There will be time to share heartfelt insights and experiences to close the experience.

Christy Guyer is a certified Holy Fire and Karuna Reiki Master Teacher and has been practicing Reiki since 2010. In 2017 she rediscovered her love of music and enthusiastically embraced the beauty and power of sound healing with Crystal Alchemy Bowls. Christy is passionate about reuniting folks with their authentic selves through energetic healing and self-awareness work, with particular focus on women's empowerment.
Becky Kopec is currently working towards a Master's in Chinese Medicine. She was introduced to the practice of Yoga Nidra in 2015, and was quickly drawn to learn more. In 2016 she completed the Amrit Method Yoga Nidra Certification program in Vancouver, BC under the instruction of John Vosler. She is passionate and dedicated to her work and studies in holistic medicine and the healing arts.
