AURORA, IL — An Aurora man was taken into custody Thursday after he was found in possession of child sexual abuse materials, Illinois State Police said.
ISP Division of Criminal Investigation special agents arrested Andrew Dunlop III, 32, and charged him with three counts of unlawful possession of child sexual abuse material.
Agents received an online tip in June 2025, leading to an extensive investigation in DuPage County and Dunlop being identified as the suspect, officials said.
On May 7, officers executed a search warrant at Dunlop's residence in the 2000 block of Waters Edge Circle in Aurora, and he was taken into custody on the three felony charges Thursday.
Dunlop is in custody at the DuPage County jail pending his first court appearance Friday morning.
