The Aurora Police Department conducts periodical undercover details to ensure alcohol and tobacco aren't sold to minors. Cadets, who are all under the age of 21, attempt to purchase alcohol or tobacco from nine businesses. Seven businesses complied:

"Compliance checks are an important tool in helping reduce underage access to tobacco and nicotine products," Special Operations Group Lieutenant Christopher McWilliams said in a statement. "We appreciate the businesses that continue to follow the law and remain committed to addressing violations when they occur."
