AURORA, IL — Two people were hospitalized after a crash Tuesday evening near DuPage Parkway and Forsyth Lane, Aurora police said.
A Chevrolet Equinox and a Jeep Cherokee crashed at about 7:55 p.m. while driving northwest on DuPage Parkway. The impact caused the Chevy to overturn onto its side in the median, police spokesperson Jim Levicki told Patch.
The preliminary investigation indicated the drivers got involved "in a driving-related incident," and shortly after the Chevy attempted to pass the Jeep, they crashed, Levicki said.
The two hospitalized suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators determined the driver of the Chevrolet was at fault, Levicki said, and was therefore cited for driving without a valid driver's license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
