The honor places these Aurora scholars among the top 1% of seniors nationwide, and they'll now compete for finalist status by submitting detailed applications highlighting academics, leadership, and community involvement.

β’ Cheap Trick Guitarist Rick Nielsen Leaves the Stage for Apparent Medical Issue (therockrevival.com) β Fans at Aurora's RiverEdge Park saw Cheap Trick's Rick Nielsen repeatedly leave the stage Thursday night after apparent breathing problems shortened the concert and forced song cuts. The 77-year-old guitarist twice exited, later returning to sit and finish portions of the show and join the final bow, while the band and his son Daxx worked to keep the performance going.
