Barrington Residents Invited to the Red Carpet Extravaganza On Oscar Night

As one of the biggest awards ceremony airs on television, Barrington will host it’s own red carpet event on Sunday evening ,February 26th.

Longtime Barrington businessman, Michael J. Miller has had his jewelry business in Barrington for 47 years. Miller is one of the sponsors of the event.

“ I want to invite the public to this informative and fun event,” said Miller. “ I also want to get business people and residents together and create a much better Barrington,” he added.

Mike received his degree in Pharmacy but his love has been for gems and precious jewels. His store, M.J. Miller & Co. is located on Main Street.

Emery Moorehead from the 1985 Chicago Bears along with former New England Patriot, Marques Sullivan will join Barrington residents and business people at the Barrington White House located at 145 W. Main Street in Barrington. There will be Hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar from 7-9PM.

“ We’ve got wonderful people here in Barrington, it is a close knit community,” Miller said.
