Barrington Student Awarded Prestigious Engineering Internship

Cameron Thomson will expand education at Christopher B. Burke Engineering, Ltd.

Barrington’s own Cameron Thomson has accepted an internship at the prestigious engineering firm Christopher B. Burke Engineering, Ltd. (CBBEL).

Thomson, an Environmental Studies major, will begin the internship in May and will be trained in the field of environmental engineering.

“Our intern program is crucial in fostering the next generation of engineers,” says CBBEL founder and President Christopher B. Burke. “It builds a bridge between the academic world and the working world and gives students the ability to explore their career interests and expand their professional network.”
