Chicago Bears Linebacker Khaseem Greene to Visit Rose School

Barbara Rose Elementary School students will have the opportunity to learn from Chicago Bears linebacker Khaseem Greene on Tuesday, Dec. 10. Greene will be at the school’s gym from 1-1:30 p.m. to discuss respect and success.

Two fifth-grade students from the Social Emotional Learning Task Force will be interviewing Greene during the assembly. Greene will talk about his respect and kindness toward others has led to success in his life, both on and off the football field. He will also expand upon the Rose School anti-bullying oath and its ongoing efforts to teach social emotional competency and mutual respect.  Following his discussion in the school gym, Greene will make classroom visits until 2 p.m.

Greene was named Big East Defensive Player of the Year for two consecutive years while at Rutgers University. He is currently in his first season with the Bears, and has 21 tackles, 1 forced fumble and 1 interception against the Vikings.
