"Consider the Conversation" Movie Event on March 30
free movie event at Barrington High School
In preparation for National Healthcare Decisions Day (April 16), Be@Ease and JourneyCare are partnering to host a free showing of “Consider the Conversation: A Documentary on a Taboo Subject,” a 60-minute film examining how 21st century Americans live at the end of their lives from both personal and cultural/health systems perspectives.
The film will be shown on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at Barrington High School’s Auditorium, 616 W. Main.
The film includes interviews with patients, family members, doctors, nurses, social workers, clergy and national experts from around the country. These voices of experience share that communication and preparation are the keys to preventing unnecessary physical, emotional, spiritual and social suffering at the end-of-life.
