A Schaumburg man is accused of sexually assaulting a 30-year-old resident at Alden Estates of Barrington, police said.

LAKE COUNTY, IL — A Schaumburg nurse has been charged with criminal sexual assault after DNA evidence linked him to the alleged assault of a 30-year-old resident at a Barrington rehabilitation and nursing facility, according to police.
Olufemi I. Olaifa, 40, was charged following a months-long investigation into a Feb. 22 report of a sexual assault at Alden Estates of Barrington, 1420 S. Barrington Road, authorities said.
Barrington police said the resident reported being sexually assaulted by a male nurse employed at the facility. Detectives collected DNA evidence during the investigation, and forensic testing allegedly later identified Olaifa as a match, police said.
