JourneyCare Decades Dance to Benefit Pediatric Care Programs

Fundraiser for JourneyCare's pediatric care programs

Dust off your finest polyester and platform shoes and enjoy some good times while supporting JourneyCare’s All About Kids program.

The Stonegate Conference Centre in Hoffman Estates is the place to be on Saturday, April 2, 2016, for JourneyCare Foundation’s annual Decades Dance. The event is celebrating the pop culture of the ‘70s, but guests are still encouraged to dress in vintage clothing that captures the essence of the ‘60s, ‘70s, ‘80s and ‘90s. The area’s supreme dance party band, Libido Funk Circus, returns to perform tunes ranging from Motown to disco to rock.

Tickets are $90 a piece and include dinner, drink tickets and wine service. There will be a costume contest, 50/50 raffle, silent and live auctions and a photo booth.

Of course, the most important aspect of this event continues to be raising funds for JourneyCare’s pediatric programs. All About Kids provides specialized, compassionate support for nearly 200 children and families in the Chicago area and northern Illinois we serve each day who are facing serious or life-limiting illness. Over 40% of these families struggle financially but thanks to the events such as the Decades Dance, their child can receive the critical care and support they need and deserve.
