JourneyCare Gala Nets Over $350,000

Over 350 guests gathered at the Barrington Hills estate of Colleen and Bill Noyes on June 24 for JourneyCare's premier fundraising event, The Gala: An Evening in the Hamptons.

The elegant black-tie event raised over $350,000 in support of JourneyCare's mission of enriching lives through expert and compassionate care.

The evening began with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres served poolside, followed by a three-course gourmet meal in the main tent. After dinner, Bill Noyes doubled as auctioneer for the live and reverse auctions, with assistance from the JourneyCare Teen Leadership Team. Live auction items included a Grand Cayman Getaway, a Kentucky Derby Experience, tickets for a Chicago Cubs Skybox Suite and tickets to a Chicago Blackhawks game.

PC Daniel was the winner of the much-anticipated drawing for a 2017 Land Rover Discovery Sport, donated by Motor Werks Auto Group of Barrington.

The evening was capped off with dancing to the music of High Society Orchestra. Guests were also treated to a special performance by Victoria Noyes.

As guests departed, a donut truck was on hand with coffee and sweet treats to go.
