Lake Barrington Farmers Market at The Market Place Route 59 & Kelsey Road
Special event, July 25 Touch a truck day!
Lake Barrington, Il, July 25, 2017: Please come by for the annual touch a truck day from our local fire and safety departments. Featured will be rescue vehicles from:
- Barrington Countryside Fire Protection District,
- Wauconda Fire Department, and
- Cuba Township Highway Department
People, of all ages, are not only encouraged visit how our local heroes keep us safe and the equipment they use. There will be face painting, for the kids. a special “Batman” search for prizes, Hot Dogs from Famous Frankie’s and other sweets and goodies for the kids with prepared bagels and tacos for all.
The Lake Barrington Farmers Market at The Market Place has over 20 vendors ranging from fresh fish and meats, to local farmsteads, to treats for the puppies. There is local artists and crafters who provide anywhere from homemade soaps, honey, jams, and syrups, to granola. In addition, vendors showing their beautiful clothing and hand-crafted items, Always a good time for all!
