Novel Writing Workshop Starts 2/20 at Harper

Have you begun a novel? Maybe you’ve completed a manuscript, but are unsure of the next steps. Then, this class is for you! We will discuss elements of your novel, engage in group writing exercises, and experience the encouragement to get that unfinished masterpiece back on track! We will also look at an overview of the process of preparing your manuscript for submission to agents and publishers.

Please note: For the first class, students are to bring the latest printed version of their novel, a list of chapters, and a 1-2 page synopsis.

About the Instructor: Laura Ehrke is a published novelist, freelance writer and creative writing instructor. Having studied writing at Northwestern University and earned a Master of Liberal Arts degree from the University of Chicago, she has writing experience as a columnist, feature writer, blogger, business writer, public relations specialist, and creative writer.
