You Are Invited to Lake Forest Symphony Mad Hatter Luncheon April 23
The Guild of the Lake Forest Symphony will hold its Annual Mad Hatter Spring Luncheon on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at the Onwentsia Club.
The Onwentsia Club will step back in time to 1776 for this year’s Mad Hatter Spring Luncheon, sponsored by the Guild of the Lake Forest Symphony. Held on Thursday, April 23, 2015, the event theme is the American Revolution to highlight the book review of The Traitor’s Wife that will be presented by Barbara Rinella. The Traitor’s Wife tells the tale of Benedict Arnold’s wife who masterminded America’s most infamous act of treason. We are honored that the author of The New York Times bestseller The Traitor’s Wife, Allison Pataki, will joining us for the festivities!
The event will begin at 10:30 am. Attendees will enjoy a fashion show featuring gowns from the Lake Forest Shop, view the many different hats worn for the occasion, shop a display of silent auction items, perhaps purchase a raffle ticket and, of course, enjoy visiting with old and new friends.
Lunch will be served at 11:30 am. Prizes for the most fabulous hats will be awarded, followed by the dramatic book review by perennial favorite, Barbara Rinella.
