Repair Shop Employee Airlifted to Hospital After Truck Falls Off Lift, Strikes Him
The accident happened at the Tranz Shop in Batavia. The injured man has been airlifted to Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove.

BATAVIA, IL - A truck fell off a lift at a local car repair shop and struck a man underneath the vehicle Tuesday morning.
The Batavia Police Department and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration are now investigating the incident, which occurred at about 8:43 a.m. at Tranz Shop, 1707 E. Wilson St. in Batavia, according to a press release from the Batavia Police Department.
When emergency personnel and police arrived, an employee had already removed the injured man from underneath the truck, according to police. The victim was an employee at Tranza Shop, according to the Aurora Beacon-News. .

He was airlifted to Good Shepherd Hospital and his condition is not immediately available.
