157 Pounds of Pot Found in Accused Drug Dealer's Jeep

Police pulled the 53-year-old man over after they allegedly saw him involved in a drug deal.

AURORA, IL — A Bolingbrook man was caught with 157 pounds of marijuana in his Jeep after detectives pulled him over.

Luis Garcia, 53, of the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive in Bolingbrook, was charged with cannabis trafficking, two counts of unlawful manufacture/delivery of cannabis and unlawful possession of cannabis.

According to ABC 7, deputies saw an alleged drug deal between four men in a parking lot near I-88 and Farnsworth Avenue in Aurora. Sergio Delgadillo-Alvarez, 42, Ruben Guillen-Hernandez, 55 and Jamie Guillen-Hernandez, 63 all from Mexico, were arrested after the Jeep drove away.

When the Jeep was stopped, police found the marijuana, which has an estimated street value of $1.4 million.

The three men from Mexico received the sames charges as Garcia.

The men are currently at the Kane County Adult Justice Center on $2 million bail.
