25th Annual On the Road to Literacy Tutor & Adult Learner Conference

On April 9th, Literacy Volunteers of Illinois and the UIC Center for Literacy will present their annual On the Road to Literacy Conference, which will take place at UIC’s Center for Literacy from 9AM to 3PM. Now in its 25th year, the conference is a collaboration that puts together the most effective and innovative methods to fight low literacy in Illinois. Over 20 workshops will explore strategies, techniques and materials for adult literacy tutors, students, and program staff. This year’s conference will also feature a few special acknowledgements celebrating a quarter century of On the Road.
