3 Injured in Rollover Crash in Batavia

BATAVIA, IL - Three people were injured in a rollover crash in Batavia Sunday afternoon. Three vehicles collided at about 2:40 p.m. in the area of North Randall Road and West Wilson Street in Batavia. One of the vehicles rolled over after going off the roadway and the driver had to be extricated from the vehicle, Batavia police said.

That driver was airlifted to Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove as a precaution due to the amount of time needed to extricate him from the vehicle, according to a news release from the Batavia Police Department.

Two other people were injured and taken by ambulance to Delnor Hospital in Geneva.

None of the injuries sustained in the crash are considered life-threatening, police said.

The crash remains under investigation.
