40 Counts Of Possessing, Reproducing Child Porn For Batavia Man
David Newtoff possessed and disseminated photos and videos of children being sexually abused between July and November 2022, officials said.

BATAVIA, IL — A 29-year-old Batavia man was issued 40 counts of reproducing and possessing child pornography charges.
Between July and November of this year, prosecutors allege David L. Newtoff possessed and disseminated multiple photos and videos of children being sexually abused. The Kane County State's Attorney's Office's Child Exploitation Unit and the Department of Homeland Security's Chicago Field Office of Homeland Security Investigations conducted the investigation.
Officials charged him with 20 counts of reproducing child pornography and 20 counts of possessing child pornography.

After a Kane County judge issued a warrant for the man's arrest and set his bail at $100,000, with 10 percent to apply. Newtoff surrendered himself at the Kane County Sheriff's Office Nov. 18, posted $10,000 bail and was released, officials said Tuesday.
Newtoff's next court appearance s set for Dec. 5 at the Kane County Judicial Center.
