4D Movie, New Iconic Landmarks Coming to LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago
Center challenges fans and families for the chance to be featured in top-secret MINILAND additions

LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Chicago is growing its LEGO kingdom. The development includes installations for secret additions to its famous MINILAND Chicago, an all-new 4D movie experience, and an interactive City Builder build zone. For the chance to be featured as permanent minifigures within the top-secret MINILAND additions, snap a photo with you and your family near your favorite landmark (Chicago or elsewhere), upload it to Facebook and tag LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago! Guidelines for the contest are available at www.LegolandDiscoveryCenter.com/Chicago/Misc/Miniland-Contest.aspx
“The Center is absolutely buzzing with excitement,” said David Howard, Master Model Builder for LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago. “We are always searching for ways to give families the chance to experience LEGO in new ways that will help them grow and spark their imagination and creativity. These new additions are a testament to LEGO’s ability to do just that.”
The indoor family entertainment destination featuring over 3 million LEGO bricks and nine attractions will close briefly next month to undergo the MINILAND construction and installations for its new 4D movie and City Builder experiences. The LEGO® Movie™ 4D A New Adventure, appearing exclusively at LEGOLAND® theme parks and LEGOLAND® Discovery Centers in 2016, reunites the stars of The LEGO® Movie™ in an all-new story about what happened after the blockbuster movie.
