The free March 22 event will feature live improv, jazz music, and art from Batavia High School students.

BATAVIA, IL — Student improvisors, musicians, and filmmakers will step into the spotlight for the 6th Annual Batavia Fine Arts Fest at Batavia High School on March 22. Live jazz, improv sets, and student films will set the stage for the festival, which is free and open to the public.
The festivities kick off at 5 p.m. with coffee and ice cream treats from Kimmer's Ice Cream served in mugs and bowls that were handcrafted by Batavia High School artists. Students will be on hand at artists tables to show off their works and give henna tattoos to guests.
The Batavia High School Jazz Combo will take the stage at 6:30 p.m. for an hour-long performance. Then, "But Seriously, Folks...," the high school's improv troupe, will perform an improv set and show a video presentation.
