Albright Theatre Presents "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever"
The Albright Theatre Company is proud to present its holiday production of "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" by Barbara Robinson.

BATAVIA, Ill. (November 18, 2014) – The Albright Theatre Company is proud to present its holiday production of “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” by Barbara Robinson.
In this hilarious and heart-warming Christmas tale, Grace and Bob Bradley take on the church Christmas pageant. Enter the Herdman kids – probably the most awful kids in history! The Herdmans add their own flare to the Christmas story and Grace has her hands full thinking that the Herdmans will certainly ruin the pageant. Or can they help make this the best Christmas Pageant ever?
The show is an Albright Theatre favorite and is being directed by Tricia Miller Hewson of West Dundee.

“I was so honored when the Albright Theatre Company chose me to be the director of this show,” Hewson said. “This show warms my heart, and I believe it shares a universal theme of acceptance. Accepting those that are different and understanding that everyone shares a common thread, especially during the holidays.”
The ensemble cast includes Batavia residents Mark Dettman, Ron Gustin, Annie Hanlin, Lane Hanlin, Payton Jewell, Kia Jewell, Lauren Hunecke, Madeline Schuster, Ronni Gustin, Naomi Gustin, Dane Marvin, Abigail Sutton, Kendall Haldeman and Max Micheli; North Aurora residents Hannah Pripusich, Mollie Peery, Alexander Peery, Cyndi Pripusich and Jeff Pripusich; Geneva residents Amaria Von Dran, Griffin Egan, Alana Cielo and Jon Jocson; Aurora residents Jessica Shinofield and Abigail Shinofield; and West Chicago resident Antonia Arellano. “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” is supported by producer Veronica Krystal of Bloomingdale and stage manager Jennifer Ring of Batavia.

“Directing ‘The Best Christmas Pageant Ever’ has been an absolute joy. It has been such a blast to watch the cast grow and tell the story,” Hewson said. “The children are adorable, and they are really excited to perform. To watch them spread their wings and grow as actors is a real privilege.”
“The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” runs Dec. 5, 6, 7, 12, 13 and 14. Performance times will be Fridays at 7:30 p.m., Saturdays at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. Rated G. The Albright Theatre is located on the 3rd floor of the Batavia government building at 100 N. Island Ave. Tickets are $12.00 for adults and $9.00 for students and seniors. Receive $1.00 off each ticket with a donation of a non-perishable food item. The Albright Theatre will be donating the food items to local food banks.
