ALDI To Hire 100 People In Illinois, Indiana

BATAVIA, IL -- ALDI is hosting a one-day hiring spree that will bring 100 jobs to stores throughout Illinois and Northwest Indiana. The event, slated for Jan. 15, includes positions for store associates, shift managers, and manager trainees, with pay ranging from $13 to $22.75 hourly.

Hiring events will be held at Chicagoland stores and in Angola, Auburn, Calumet City, Crown Point, Gary, Goshen, Elkhart, Hammond, LaPorte, Lowell, Merrillville, Michigan City, Mishawaka, Plymouth, Portage, Schererville, St. John, South Bend, Valparaiso and Warsaw, according to a press release from ALDI officials.

Requirements for the available positions include, but are not limited to:

• Must be 18 years or older to apply
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must be available to work anytime between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m., Monday-Sunday
• Retail experience preferred
• Management experience preferred for Manager Trainees
• Ability to lift 45 pounds
