AMI Welcomes Emma Iacovella - Voice / Piano Teacher

The American Music Institute (AMI) proudly welcomes Emma Iacovella to its Voice & Piano Faculty. Emma brings a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to AMI’s music programs, inspiring students of all ages and skill levels.

Emma Iacovella received her Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance (along with Music Education courses) at Kansas State University, where she studied under Dr. Patricia Thompson. Despite focusing her degree on Voice as well as specializing in opera and art song (she performed at Victor Herbert’s Centenary Concert with the Great Lakes Operetta Company).

As an educator, Emma’s teaching philosophy rests upon the belief that education goes far beyond imparting knowledge and facts. She believes in differentiating instruction to meet the diverse needs of her students and promote inclusive learning.She focuses on instilling a growth mindset, promoting resilience, perseverance, and a belief in their full potential.
