AMI Welcomes Georgia Jacobson - Voice / Piano Lessons

The American Music Institute (AMI) proudly welcomes voice and piano teacher Georgia Jacobson to its faculty. Georgia brings a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to AMI’s Voice / Piano programs, inspiring students of all ages and skill levels.
Mezzo-soprano Georgia Jacobson has held positions as Music Faculty at Lake Superior College and Angeles Academy of Music in Los Angeles, California. Georgia has collaborated with esteemed institutions, including the Metropolitan Opera, Aspen Music Festival, Los Angeles Philharmonic, and Philadelphia Orchestra. Recent engagements include debuts with Kentucky Opera and with Opera Santa Barbara.
Born in France and raised in northern Minnesota, Georgia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Voice Performance from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and a Master of Music and Artist Diploma in Opera Performance from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM), where she was a scholarship recipient and awarded the Sam Adams Award.
