• Girls track and field: Huntley hitting higher gear after winning Tiger invitational (dailyherald.com) — Batavia’s girls 4x200 relay team of Elizabeth Wende, Brooke Berggren, Abby Wirth and Temperance Carter clocked a winning 1:45.51 at the Tiger Invitational, helping the Bulldogs to a 10th-place team finish. The meet, hosted by Wheaton Warrenville South, featured strong performances from Huntley, Naperville-area schools and others as athletes tune up for the postseason.
